Green Spud
Spudrocket believes in being kind to their environment. If everyone decided to make small changes to the way they work and live, it would have a huge environmental impact.
Spudrocket actively recycles any waste products – especially office paper, ink cartridges and wine, vodka, kahlua, scotch and beer bottles. Energy saving light bulbs have been fitted in the studio, and water saving measures and a simple do-it-yourself grey water recycling system have been put in place to ensure that the Spudrocket office stays fairly green. Although the price of installing a legal grey water system can be prohibitive, it’s easy to put a bucket underneath a tap or in the shower and then throw it in your pot plants, it’s amazing how much water goes down the drain without you realising!
Spudrocket is plugged into the GreenPower grid, which means that 25% of energy consumed comes from Government Accredited Renewable Energy. It helps to offset green house gasses that are produced by powering the mighty spud.
